Promoting Peace and Prosperity in Berbera

Berbera has long been known for peace and trade. The Saahil Cultural Organization for Interest and Peace (Dan iyo Duco) represents this vision Dan” meaning the community’s interest, based on peaceful commerce, and “Duco” meaning the promotion and encouragement of peace.

The Dan iyo Duco Organization works to support quality education across the Saahil regions, to attract investment to Berbera, and to strengthen trade relations with the Horn of Africa and the wider world.

The organization firmly rejects any attempt to draw Berbera into conflict or insecurity, as such actions would harm trade, development, and long-term prosperity.
